This cute pop-up book from the Novelty Pop-Up Book series is hard one to find. Bill and his dog Patch do for a walk in Farmer Brown's field but a cat on the loose causes Patch to turn the barnyard into a frightful uproar. Nicely illustrated by the author. Oblong pictorial hardback with 10 pages that have 3 double-page pop-ups and 4 lift-a-flaps. Published by Purnell & Sons, Ltd., London, 1969. No other date or printing is mentioned. CONDITION: All pop-ups are working fine and the flaps are all intact but I don't see anything under 3 of the flaps so maybe something is missing or not working correctly; I just can't figure it out. Interior is clean and bright with no markings. Cover is clean with light scuffing, a scratch to rear and some wrinkling to spine. Edges have just a touch of light wear. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
