A delightful early reader (about 3rd or 4th grade level) from the "Magic Bridge" series. Cute stories and nice illustrations. Published by Prentice Hall, 1963. First printing with "1" on last page of text. Hardback - blue-green cloth with gilt and black lettering and drawing of children crossing a bridge. NOT an ex-library copy but I think this is the reinforced library binding. CONDITION: Pages are bright white and clean except for a couple light smudges. Some writing to front pastedown, no school stampings, no creases, no writing to reading pages and no tears. Endpapers have a light fading around the edges. Cover is clean with a couple small marks and some scuffing. Corners and spine ends have some wear. There is a 1/2" tear with some fraying to front foredge.
