Children's Press 1928 No ISBN Edition Unstated Spiral Bound Fair No Jacket Boris Riedel
Pictorial paper covered boards that appear to have been rebound with a plastic spiral. Reading copy only. Story is complete but book is not. The title page and copyright page are missing. The front free endpaper was partly removed from the spiral an is now pasted to the margin of the first page of the story. The rear free endpaper was also partly removed from spiral is now pasted to the rear pastedown. Pages have a couple light smudges and light aging but basically clean with no markings or creases. There are few small tears and spiral, no major tearing. The full color illustrations by Boris Riedel are still very bright. Cover has a little light soiling, scuffing and rubbing. Edges have heavy wear and chipping. Rear has some paper peeling and chipping. A delightful story about a timid giant named Dirridinga that befriends a brave little boy named Alan.
