Two book set in the Quinlan Basic Readesr series, New Edition. Happy Days is the Readiness Primer and To and Fro is the First Reader. Overall pages are clean and bright with a little scattered spotting / smudges. A few pages have some pencil underlining or words circled in pencil. No school stamping, no creases, no tears. Covers have some scuffing, rubbing and some edge wear. These book must have been in the way during art class. They both have some paint spilling, mostly to rear of Happy Days and little on front of To and Fro. Hinges are intact and pages secure. Similar to the Dick and Jane readers with the main characters being twins named Jane and Billy and their pet monkey, Winky. Word list in rear. Nicely illustrated in bright colors.
