Published by Dana Estes & Company, copyright 1908. No other date or printing mentioned. Hardback - Green cloth with gilt lettering on spine and color picture paste-on to front, no dustjacket. 311 pages. Good reading copy with all pages intact, basically clean and bright with a bit of foxing. No writing. There are a couple small edge nicks, no tears. A little foxing to endpapers and book edges. Two of the plates are partly detached. Cover is basically clean with scuffing and rubbing, a dent and mark to spine and some edge wear. Picture paste-on is bright with rubbing. Hinges are intact and binding is tight. The author's first crime novel features comic cockney characters and their adventures as they search for hidden treasure in the form of burgled silver. Illustrated by G. L. Stampa in black and white text drawings and several plates. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
